Depature Lounge Caskets

Departure Lounge Caskets is a New Zealand brand creating thoughtfully designed caskets and urns for personal, affordable farewells. Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, its products use environmentally sustainable materials, with caskets supplied with natural-fibre and wool drapery that is 100% biodegradable. Families can select a casket or urn individually or as a matching set, choosing from natural timber finishes, waxed timber, or a range of printed designs inspired by flowers and New Zealand coastal landscapes. Natural timber options can also be decorated or personalised, including with a customer’s own image, arranged through a funeral director.

The range includes premium caskets and urns in medium and large sizes, Plantation XL caskets in standard, double XL and triple XL sizes, and Essential Care economy caskets. Plantation XL models are independently tested to support weights exceeding 300 kilograms. Essential Care caskets offer a simple, cost-effective natural timber option and are supplied without handles. Products are available through funeral directors throughout New Zealand; the company also invites enquiries about sales and international orders.
