Depot Hill Creative is a community-focused arts hub in Stoughton, Wisconsin, located inside the city’s historic passenger depot at 532 E. Main Street. The organization brings art classes, studio space, and opportunities to make things together into a welcoming local setting for new learners, working artists, and anyone hoping to return to a creative practice.

Its small, hands-on classes are led by local artists and invite participants to learn new skills or reconnect with creative interests. Depot Hill Creative also offers private studio and shared workspace options, with prospective users encouraged to describe their needs and request next steps. Artists and other creative instructors can propose classes or workshops, as the organization welcomes teaching ideas across creative disciplines.

Beyond its programs, Depot Hill Creative celebrates the history of the depot, built in 1913 as part of Stoughton’s rail-connected district. Inspired by local connections and the idea that it is never too late to create, the space aims to make art and creative practice part of everyday community life
