About DERBY RIACHOS
Derby Riachos is a Portuguese pigeon-racing organisation and competition venue based in Riachos. With 15 years of dedication to the sport, it welcomes young racing pigeons from participants around the world and provides organised competitions, event information and participant support. Its facilities include a columbodrome with 10 pigeon lofts and 30 metres of space for housing the birds. Designed with a broad, unobstructed frontage and set in a peaceful rural environment, the site aims to offer suitable conditions for participating pigeons.
The organisation’s programme includes Derby Riachos, the Yearlings Cup and the Endurance Grand Prix. Its website provides competition regulations, registration and activation details, calendars, participant lists, results, race records, photographs and live videos. Participants can register through the online platform to receive an ID for current and future events. Derby Riachos also shares practical information about its facilities, contacts and tourism. For the 2026 Derby, the final race is scheduled for 10 October, while the Yearlings Cup is listed for teams of eight pigeons.
