Derzhvni-Cёla is a dedicated foundation supporting traditional Russian culture through the "Electronic Encyclopedia of the History and Culture of Russian Villages and Settlements." Established in 1992, its team of folklorists, linguists, and educators actively engages in the field study of cultural, historical, and contemporary aspects of rural life across the Russian North, Ural, and Siberia. In 2017, the foundation evolved into a nonprofit organization that focuses on preserving and promoting the rich traditions of Russian villages.

Derzhvni-Cёla conducts immersive projects in selected villages, engaging with local elders to collect oral histories, traditions, and dialects. They create comprehensive online encyclopedias for each village, provide training for locals on contributing to the encyclopedia, and ensure that all gathered materials are left in the village for future generations. Their services extend to crafting family trees, recording traditional songs, digitizing library archives, documenting local dialects, and producing documentaries that capture the unique essence of village life. They invite collaboration from cultural researchers, schools, and libraries committed to preserving the heritage of Russian rural culture.
