Der Hühner Fred is a mobile grill-food brand serving customers in Saarland and the Palatinate. Its grillmobiles offer freshly grilled chicken and a selection of other foods for adults and children, including fries. Customers can use the website’s location finder or the free Hähnchen-Radar app to see where a grillmobile will be and when it is nearby. Food can also be preordered online or through the app.
The brand caters for events such as company celebrations, birthdays and other private gatherings, bringing a grillmobile and grill specialist to the venue. Quality and freshness are central to its approach, supported by checks throughout food preparation and trained staff. In 2025, its grilled chicken and French fries received DLG Gold Medals with maximum scores.
Der Hühner Fred also highlights practical sustainability measures: it generates electricity with photovoltaic systems, heats water using solar energy, avoids plastic, and works with Foodsharing to help prevent food waste. Its website provides information about locations, events, careers and customer feedback.
