Dermamatica

Dermamatica is a clinical decision-support platform designed to help primary-care clinicians assess and prioritise suspicious skin lesions earlier. It connects a patient app with a clinician platform, supporting a clearer path from image capture to review and referral while leaving all clinical decisions to the healthcare professional.

Patients can use guided smartphone photography to capture a skin spot and securely share it with a participating clinician or clinic. The app checks image quality but does not provide patients with a diagnosis or risk score. Clinicians can review smartphone, dermoscopic and compatible regional or total-body images using explainable risk scores, visual heatmaps and similar biopsy-confirmed cases. A personal mole map can also help track lesions over time.

Dermamatica aims to support faster attention for higher-risk cases and structured follow-up for lower-risk ones. The company reports model performance figures and says prospective clinical evaluation is underway; results may vary by image quality, imaging method and clinical setting.
