The Derry Township Agricultural Fair (DTAF) is a community fair serving Derry Township and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania. Its mission is to preserve traditions, encourage growth, educate the public, and support youth by promoting excellence in agriculture, home economics, and craftsmanship. The fair began in 1987, when Chuck Penich and Dr. Randall Campbell secured space on a Derry High School practice field. Starting with a few tents, local vendors, and exhibitors, it grew beyond that location by 1990 and needed more room to expand.
Today, DTAF brings the community together for an annual fair, with the 2026 event scheduled for July 12–18 in New Derry. Its website offers a fair schedule and history, along with information about the fair book, Queen Contest and rules, Durika Scholarship, and concessions. The organization is based at 5938 PA-982, New Derry, Pennsylvania, and also receives mail at PO Box 261. Through its fair and related programs, DTAF celebrates local traditions and community participation.
