Desafio Brasileiro de IA is a national initiative focused on bringing artificial intelligence into practical use across Brazilian industry. It connects industrial companies with startups, businesses, researchers, students, universities, developers, and potential institutional partners to match real operational challenges with relevant AI solutions. Open to participants across Brazil, the program offers free registration and more than R$1.5 million in prizes, with awards for participating industries and solution providers.

The initiative is structured as a multi-stage challenge. Participants register and present AI solutions, then take part in matchmaking to form connections and develop project proposals. Proposals are assessed before the awards stage, followed by mentoring, solution pilots or proofs of value, and evaluation of results. The program is designed to support the implementation of AI in industrial settings, rather than simply showcasing technology. Its contact service helps interested companies and participants learn about the 2026 call for applications, eligibility, partnerships, and participation.
