Descente-Canyon.com is an online reference resource for canyoning and canyon descent, bringing together practical information and a community of enthusiasts. Its canyon database contains more than 4,000 canyon guides, with listings searchable by canyon name and other known appellations. The site also hosts around 60,000 shared photos and a substantial collection of user-reported water-flow conditions, helping visitors follow recent updates and check observations from the field. Flow reports use clear categories, from dry or low water to high and very high flow, and visitors can contribute newly observed conditions.

Beyond its reference database, Descente-Canyon.com offers discussion forums organized by geographical area and topic, creating a place for practitioners to exchange information. Its canyoning library catalogues nearly all available guidebooks worldwide. The site also highlights recent photos, contributions, publications, forum topics, and flow reports. Descente-Canyon.com is undergoing a redesign, with features being restored and expanded over time. Through these resources, it supports trip research, shared knowledge, and ongoing communication among canyoning practitioners.
