About Desert Rabbits
Desert Rabbits is a Dutch esports organization that has been active since 2003, with roots in the Battlefield 2 gaming community. Built around its motto, “Together we make a Difference,” the organization brings gamers together through team activities, online communication and in-person events. Its website introduces the team and its history, shares awards and news, and provides access to a community forum and TeamSpeak, although the listed server was unavailable in the site content.
Desert Rabbits members have attended gaming events such as The Reality in Assen, where players could register and choose their spots together. The organization also maintains connections among former and current members through reunions. A 2024 gathering brought more than 30 people together for a weekend of gaming and a barbecue, while an active WhatsApp group included nearly 40 members at the time of the report.
Desert Rabbits is therefore both an esports team and a longstanding social community, focused on shared gaming experiences, member connections and events
