Founded in 2006 by experienced winemaker Paul J. Hoffman, the brand has withstood economic challenges and expanded its reach in national and international markets.
The company's distributed wine brands, 401K and Headbanger, have gained significant recognition, and tasting rooms have been established in Sonoma Plaza and Treasure Island. In 2015, the winemaking operations were moved to Scottsdale, where the Desert Rock Urban Winery, Tasting Room, and Wine Education Center were opened, bringing the wine country experience to Arizona.
