Design Ecosystems is a landscape design and landscape architecture studio led by Dean and Tom. The New Jersey-based team serves property owners across the state, with design services also available throughout the tri-state area. Its work brings together ecological stewardship, thoughtful design, and practical outdoor living for residential and commercial projects.
The studio develops and installs sustainable landscapes, specializing in native plantings, pollinator gardens, and custom hardscaping. Projects feature regionally appropriate plants and, where suitable, locally sourced or repurposed materials to create resilient spaces that support local ecosystems while enhancing a property’s beauty. Designs range from woodland gardens and welcoming entrances to schoolyard pollinator spaces and landscapes for people and pets.
Design Ecosystems also shares information about native plants, landscape design, and environmental stewardship through its Field Journal. Prospective clients can explore project examples, learn about the studio and its approach, and book a consultation to discuss their landscape goals.
