DESIGN Canberra Festival is an annual celebration that showcases Canberra as a vibrant creative capital and a hub of global design. This renowned festival, presented by Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre, highlights the city’s rich cultural heritage, particularly its deep-rooted connections to the First Nation peoples, particularly the Ngunnawal community, whose artistic practices and environmental understanding shape the region's identity.
From November 2 to 20, 2022, DESIGN Canberra brings together over 200 events, exhibitions, workshops, and market activations, catering to diverse audiences of all ages. The festival serves as a dynamic platform for local designers, artists, and makers, fostering collaboration and innovation within the vibrant Canberra design community. With a commitment to sustainability and creativity, the festival consistently pushes boundaries and engages participants in new and exciting ways.
