Designed Conviction is a storytelling and advocacy organization focused on creating fuller, more human narratives about incarceration. Through art, writing, music, and community resources, it highlights context, accountability, dignity, and the possibility of growth for incarcerated individuals and the families and communities affected by incarceration.

Its programs include Every Sentence Has a Story, an advocacy project featuring accounts from people who have experienced incarceration and their loved ones, and Designed Conviction Magazine, which provides incarcerated individuals with a platform for creative expression and connection. Art for Impact offers original work by incarcerated artists, with half of every purchase benefiting families directly. The organization also provides music and writing workshops and workbooks designed to support self-discovery, as well as resources and guidance for sharing stories with care and dignity.
