Designing Eden LLC is a landscape design and gardening company based in New Milford, Connecticut, serving clients throughout Litchfield and Fairfield counties. Led by owner and designer Richard Schipul, the company brings decades of experience to creating and caring for outdoor spaces. Its work is tailored to each client, with an emphasis on thoughtful design, skilled installation, and ongoing attention to detail.

Services include landscape design and installation, fine gardening, garden maintenance, and winter services. Designing Eden also highlights historic houses as a specialty, recognizing that period homes can benefit from landscapes suited to their character rather than standard suburban designs. The company describes itself as focused specifically on landscape design, installation, and maintenance, rather than offering a broad range of unrelated services.

Richard Schipul is identified as the only nationally certified landscape designer in Litchfield County. Designing Eden presents its client relationships as personal and collaborative, treating each landscape as a lasting part of its work. The company’s portfolio features projects across the two Connecticut counties it serves
