Designs by Meraki is an interior design and decorating studio based in Alberton, Gauteng, serving clients across South Africa. Led by designer Madre, the studio creates personalised spaces that balance style, functionality and the individual needs, tastes and budgets of each client. Its approach centres on thoughtful planning, clear communication and attention to detail, with a focus on modern, timeless interiors.

Services include bespoke, in-person interior design, from consultations and space planning to furniture selection, colour schemes, styling and project management. For clients seeking a lighter refresh, the studio offers interior decorating in person or online, helping select accessories, soft furnishings, artwork and colour accents to update an existing space without major renovations. Remote design is also available: clients share room photos and their preferences, and receive a tailored design proposal.

Madre’s background includes a degree from Inscape Education Group, where she graduated with distinction, and a six-month furniture design exchange programme in Belgium.
