About Design Trust
Design Trust is a non-profit organization that aims to create active, intelligent, and meaningful platforms to support and advocate for the positive value of the design process. Established in 2014 by Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design, Design Trust provides grant funding and a community platform to support creative projects and develop expertise in various design disciplines. They focus on graphics, media, wearable technologies, architecture, and the environment to accelerate creative research, design, and development of meaningful projects.
Design Trust also engages the community through dialogues, public events, and design assemblies. Their mission is to foster a culture of experimentation, new ideas, and innovative possibilities, and to advocate for the positive role of design in shaping better cities and regions. With a vision rooted in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, Design Trust aims to create cross-dialogue and projects that have local significance and global reach
