The Desjardins Foundation is a charitable organization that has supported young people and communities since 1970. Its mission is to help youth stay in school, succeed academically and reach their full potential, while giving Desjardins members and clients ways to support causes that matter to them. In 2025, the Foundation invested $7.1 million in youth academic success, reached 673,000 young people and returned $2.5 million to communities through its philanthropic funds.

The Foundation offers thousands of scholarships each year to post-secondary students and provides financial assistance through its Desjardins Foundation Prizes for projects led by people working in schools or communities. It also partners with registered charities on provincial or national projects that help young people aged 30 and under stay in school or achieve academic success. Through the Desjardins Philanthropic Funds, donors can support specific causes or create a fund of their own. Donations are directed to youth support the following year and can be made through AccèsD, by credit card or by cheque.
