About Despedida
Despedida.pt is a Portuguese digital platform for tributes, obituaries, and grief-support services. Our goal is to become the national reference for the sector, replacing antiquated funeral-notice models with a modern, dignified, geographically-intelligent experience.
Funeral agencies publish obituaries through dedicated dashboards, families can follow and manage memorials, and local florists, legal advisors, and grief counsellors connect with families at the moment they need them most. Each memorial includes ceremony details, condolences, photo galleries, and follow notifications, designed with WhatsApp-first sharing in mind — the leading communication channel in Portugal.
Despedida.pt is built and developed by ōku and Perks, both Portuguese product studios, and is based in Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
