About DeStore
DeStore is an Australian provider of GS1 Digital Link and Digital Product Passport infrastructure, operated by Metarock Pty Ltd and based in Byron Bay. Its platform helps brands exporting to Europe prepare product information for regulations such as the EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR). DeStore creates programmable QR codes designed for retail point-of-sale scanning, consumer use and supply-chain traceability, and issues digital passports with product-category fields, version histories and verification features.
The company offers catalogue migration using AI to map existing product data, generate QR codes and publish passports. It also provides compliance support, including audit-ready records and signed PDF exports, plus tools to capture ownership, repair and resale events. Scan analytics give brands visibility into product engagement and activity after sale. DeStore describes its infrastructure as built on the GS1 Digital Link standard and lists GS1 Australia, Astar, Ethereum and SubQuery among organisations or technologies associated with its work.
