The brand committed to producing 145 million face masks, extending their manufacturing capabilities in a completely new direction to combat COVID-19. They swiftly adapted to mask production through their existing innovation, engineering, and supply chain capabilities.

Despite global freight challenges, they hired jumbo jets to import specialized mask manufacturing machines. Detmold Medical also collaborated with experts, universities, and research labs to establish a TGA-certified mask manufacturing facility with onsite testing. They upskilled their employees and employed over 200 South Australians, providing much-needed job opportunities.
