The Detroit Firemen's Fund Association (DFFA) has been a guiding light for firefighters and their families since 1866. As a Michigan non-profit corporation, DFFA is one of the oldest corporations in the state, with a strong commitment to supporting injured firefighters and their specific needs. They also provide essential assistance and coordination for traditional firefighter funerals, lightening the burden on deceased firefighters' families.

DFFA achieves its mission through various means, including membership dues, fundraisers, donations, and sales from their store. Their store offers a diverse range of products for men, women, and kids, including hats, clothing, and accessories. Every purchase helps fund their important work.

In addition to their core services, DFFA also sponsors community-oriented groups such as the Detroit Fire Department Honor Guard, the Detroit Fire Department Clown Team, the Detroit Fire Department Hockey Team, and the Michigan Fallen Firefighters Memorial Rig. These groups are actively involved in community service and charitable fundraising activities. With deep roots in the Detroit community, the Detroit Firemen's Fund Association continues to host numerous events throughout the year to support both the community and firefighters.

By standing together and supporting each other, they embody the true spirit of Detroit firefighters
