About Detroit Stormwater
The Detroit Stormwater Hub is a collaborative platform aimed at enhancing understanding and collaboration surrounding Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) in Detroit. Established through a partnership involving the City of Detroit, technical experts, nonprofits, and community organizations, this hub serves as a central resource for tracking the progress and impact of GSI initiatives throughout the city. Launched in 2016 in response to community needs, it acts as a knowledgebase that fosters collaboration and resource sharing.
The hub features a comprehensive database of GSI projects, showcasing innovative solutions such as bioswales, rain gardens, and green roofs that mitigate stormwater runoff and improve Great Lakes water quality.
