Detská Tenisová Škola Nitra is a children’s tennis school for young players aged four and older, including those interested in progressing to professional training. Its programme is led by licensed coaches with more than 15 years of experience working with young people. Training is tailored to each child’s age and ability, using different types of balls and court sizes to support learning and make practice engaging. Children are encouraged with playful smiley rewards recorded on their own player cards.
The school reports working with 150 children, five coaches and four courts. New players receive a branded tennis racket and three trial training sessions free of charge. Training days and times can be arranged to suit families. In addition to regular lessons, the school offers a summer camp, which families have praised for its welcoming coaches and enjoyable atmosphere. The school also shares tennis-related news and information for parents, including guidance on getting started. Based in Nitra, Detská Tenisová Škola aims to combine skill development, encouragement and enjoyment of the game.
