The Deutschlandstipendium is a German scholarship programme supporting talented and high-achieving students at public and state-recognised universities. Since 2011, it has brought together the federal government, universities and private supporters in a public-private partnership that invests in young people and their educational opportunities. Students of all nationalities, in both first and higher semesters, can apply directly to their university. The programme recognises outstanding achievement and engagement while providing financial support and opportunities for personal development and connection.

The website serves students, universities and potential supporters with practical information about eligibility, applications, programme figures, frequently asked questions and downloadable materials. Universities can learn how to offer the scholarship, build local networks and raise private contributions; individuals, associations and companies can find guidance on becoming supporters. A service centre provides advice to participating and prospective universities and funders. The programme continues to grow: in 2025, around 33,500 students received a Deutschlandstipendium, supported in part by a record €34.6 million in private contributions.
