Les Deux Alpes is an internationally renowned mountain resort in the Isère department of France, established in 1946 on the alpine pastures of Venosc and Mont-de-Lans. Positioned between the Northern and Southern Alps, it offers winter and summer experiences across a high-altitude ski area extending from 1,270 to 3,569 metres. Its nearly 200 kilometres of pistes cater to all abilities, with beginner lessons, challenging black runs, night skiing on selected slopes and access to a glacier where skiing is possible for much of the year, depending on snow conditions.
The resort also features a snowpark and 63 ski lifts, with ski-pass holders receiving free entry to the ice rink and swimming pool. In summer, visitors can ski or snowboard on the glacier and enjoy hiking, mountain biking, tennis, archery, swimming, summer sledging and other outdoor activities. Guided excursions and adventure sports, including rafting, paragliding and canyoning, are also available.
