De Veenhove is a small-scale stable and nature retreat in Epe, set amid the forests, heathland and open countryside of the Veluwe in the Netherlands. The business offers a cosy holiday chalet for one to four guests, with privacy, a sheltered green garden and views across the meadows. Dogs are welcome, and the surrounding woodland is within easy walking distance.
Guests can also holiday with their own horse. Horses stay in a meadow with direct access to riding trails, so there is no need to transport them elsewhere to ride. Visitors can combine their stay in the nature chalet with views of their horse grazing nearby. De Veenhove also provides small-scale holiday care for horses and ponies, with a spacious meadow, daily care, fresh water and supervision; temporary stays for rest or recovery may be discussed.
In addition, the stable rents out horse pastures and its accommodation for exclusive horse-related events.
