About Development Eye Initiative
The Development Eye Initiative (DEI) is dedicated to enhancing public policy effectiveness through a citizen-centered approach. With a firm belief that development is shaped by the government’s actions, DEI focuses on simplifying complex policy issues so ordinary citizens can engage meaningfully. By connecting the public's needs with governmental capabilities, DEI fosters sustainable development in a globalized world, leveraging digitalization's role in policy formulation.
Central to DEI’s mission are four core strategies: Policy Labs provide in-depth analysis of emerging issues; Policy Analytics converts policy information into accessible formats; Public Policy Dialogues emphasize citizen involvement in policy discussions; and Public Policy and Feminism promotes gender equality in policy participation. Additionally, DEI supports young women in enhancing their proficiency and presence within policy-making spaces. With a vision of fostering effective governance and participatory decision-making, DEI emerges as a pivotal force in shaping meaningful public discourse and policy outcomes.
