About DP
Development Perspectives is an active organization in Ireland, dedicated to various development projects. They employ a range of innovative approaches, ensuring their projects resonate with participants and generate maximum impact. The organization focuses on multiple aspects of development, including the Global Goals, Storytelling, Sustainable Living Skills, and the Hero's Journey.
One of their prominent projects is Saolta, which is a strategic partnership program in Ireland's Adult and Community Education sector. The #SDGChallenge project aims to equip individuals with knowledge, skills, and motivation to contribute towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Through SDG Advocate Training, Development Perspectives offers a unique opportunity for 26 citizens to become advocates and lead transformative change in Ireland.
In addition, the organization actively participates in EU's Erasmus+ fund projects, assuming lead partnership roles in Youth Worker Mobility projects and project partner roles in long-term Strategic Partnerships. Their DPTV documentaries shed light on local and global community issues, while the SDG Challenge Schools initiative empowers schools and teachers across Ireland to take action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, they support the integration of resettled migrants, asylum seekers, refugees, and their host communities in Ireland through the STIRE program.
Development Perspectives' commitment to holistic and impactful development is evident through their diverse range of projects and partnerships. They continuously strive to make a positive difference and create a sustainable future. Contact them to find out how you can get involved or support their work
