DEVIS-INSERT

Devis-Insert.fr is a French nationwide service that helps homeowners find and compare local professionals for wood-heating projects. It connects customers with partner tradespeople for the installation of wood-burning and pellet stoves, fireplace inserts and closed hearths, as well as chimney flues, liners, safety upgrades, maintenance and sweeping. The service also supports fireplace conversions, helping customers explore options for improving heating performance and reducing consumption.

Customers can describe their project online and request up to three free, no-obligation quotes, then compare local proposals and prices before choosing a contractor. Devis-Insert.fr says it checks partner professionals’ credentials and references and prioritizes suitable insurance and guarantees, including a ten-year guarantee where applicable. Its network covers metropolitan France and several overseas regions. Requests are generally passed to nearby installers, who typically respond within 24 to 48 hours; faster visits may be possible for urgent needs. The site also notes that some projects may qualify for assistance such as MaPrimeRénov’ or energy-saving certificates, subject to eligibility and, often, use of an RGE-certified professional.
