DexKosu is a cosplay resource database created by a cosplayer and her mother to make it easier for fans to plan character builds and find reliable materials. Its searchable archive brings together resources from across the cosplay community, covering characters from anime, games, film and television, comics, books, and VTuber works. Visitors can explore hundreds of character dossiers featuring costume and wig options, props, accessories, and estimated build costs and time.

Rather than selling costumes directly, DexKosu organizes links to vetted retailers, printable 3D files, DIY tutorials, secondhand listings, and photographs shared by cosplayers. Its guides cover practical materials and techniques, including EVA foam armor, wig styling, thermoplastics, makeup, and contact-lens safety. Reviews and comparisons help users assess options across budgets, whether they want to buy a complete outfit, build from scratch, or find pre-owned pieces. Community members can contribute resources, photos, edits, and character information, while the site highlights new builds, files, guides, and conventions.
