The DFW Solar Tour offers people the opportunity to tour innovative green homes and buildings to see how you can use solar energy, energy efficiency, and other sustainable technologies to reduce monthly utility bills and help reduce our impact on precious resources like air, water and energy. The tour is produced by the North Texas Renewable Energy Group (NTREG) in conjunction with the American Solar Energy Societys National Solar Tour (the world's largest grassroots solar event) and National Energy Awareness Month.
