The Government Empowerment Department - Abu Dhabi (DGE) is a central government empowerment entity with a unified vision that aligns with the wise leadership's vision of enhancing the quality and level of services to empower government entities, citizens, and residents in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. By bringing together various government entities under the umbrella of the "Government Empowerment Department" and unifying their goals, tasks, vision, and shared values, we simplify processes and enhance alignment through a unified approach that focuses on stakeholders, making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities we serve. Our department aims to enhance human capital, digital transformation, and provide digital government services, as well as promote collaboration to enhance efficiency and productivity across all government entities in Abu Dhabi.

The Government Empowerment Department replaces the Government Support Department, the Abu Dhabi Human Resources Authority, Abu Dhabi Government Academy, and Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, while the Statistical Center - Abu Dhabi becomes a subsidiary of the department.
