About 立命館大学アート・リサーチセンター
The Digital Humanities Center for Japanese Arts and Cultures (DH-JAC) at Ritsumeikan University is a pioneering research institute in Japan focused on digital humanities in Japanese arts and cultures. Located in Kyoto, a city rich in classical performing arts and UNESCO world cultural heritage sites, DH-JAC leads the way in synthesizing research from traditional to contemporary cultural heritages. The center is actively involved in constructing digital archives encompassing tangible and intangible aspects of Kyoto and Japan.
DH-JAC offers a range of resources including the Ukiyo-e Database, Japanese Ceramic Database, and Cortazzi Map Collection.
