DH Longhorn is a family-owned and operated ranch in Nebraska, steeped in a rich heritage as 4th generation ranchers. Founded by Pete Linquist and his son Nels, the ranch has continuously evolved under the stewardship of the Linquist family, including Don Linquist, his wife Charlotte, and their son Don Jr. The ranch specializes in raising Texas Longhorn cattle, known for their lean and flavorful beef, which is free of hormones and antibiotics except when absolutely necessary.
Committed to sustainable practices, DH Longhorn’s cattle are primarily grass-fed, grazing on Nebraska's native prairie grasses year-round and enjoying a healthy lifestyle on a sprawling 1400-acre ranch. Their ethical ranching methods ensure that customers receive high-quality beef that cooks faster and is lower in fat and calories than conventional grain-fed options.
Registered with reputable associations, DH Longhorn is proud to supply customers with delicious and healthier meat choices, embodying a legacy of quality from their ranch to your table.
