An der Dualen Hochschule Sachsen kooperieren Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft in über 60 marktorientierten Studienangeboten in den Bereichen Wirtschaft, Technik und Sozial-/Gesundheitswesen. An insgesamt sieben Akademie-Standorten in Sachsen wird ein dreijähriges duales Studium mit curricular abgestimmten Theorie- und Praxisphasen angeboten, das Studierende optimal auf eine berufliche Tätigkeit vorbereitet. Das duale Studienkonzept der DHSN basiert auf dem Erfolgskonzept der 1991 gegründeten Berufsakademie Sachsen.
