DVAN (Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network) is a vibrant nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the voices of Vietnamese and Southeast Asian writers, poets, and artists in the global diaspora. Established nearly twenty years ago, DVAN creates essential spaces for artistic expression, fostering community through a variety of enriching programs, including public events, workshops, and residencies. The organization showcases the diverse narratives of its community via diaCRITICS, an online publication that features thought-provoking essays, poems, and reviews that highlight the complexity of diasporic experiences.

DVAN also engages with the public through its curated events, such as readings and panel discussions, and it actively supports emerging authors by partnering with independent presses for book publishing. Additionally, DVAN offers exclusive merchandise, including a limited-edition Lunar New Year apparel line, designed to celebrate cultural heritage. By promoting understanding and dialogue, DVAN aims to empower future generations with the stories of refugees, immigrants, survivors, and their descendants.
