Día del Salvadoreño Houston

Día del Salvadoreño Houston is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that celebrates Salvadoran and broader Hispanic heritage while supporting community development. For more than a decade, the organization has brought people together around Salvadoran culture, music, food, and traditions, using arts, education, and community programs to foster pride and unity. Its educational work includes scholarships for Hispanic students enrolled at Texas colleges or universities who meet eligibility requirements, including a minimum 3.0 GPA and active community involvement. The organization also provides citizenship assistance to families and promotes cultural preservation and visibility.

Día del Salvadoreño Houston raises support through donations, sponsorships, events, and community partnerships. Its annual Día del Salvadoreño celebration and related cultural programming connect families and recognize the community’s contributions. The organization’s Global Kings Awards Gala honors Hispanic leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and professionals, while offering tickets, sponsor packages, and honoree recognition opportunities. Gala sponsorships help fund scholarships, citizenship assistance, educational and community programs, and cultural initiatives.
