The Diakonie of the Evangelical Brethren Congregation of Korntal is a social welfare organization serving children, young people, families, and older adults. Its work spans several communities and combines education, care, and practical support, guided by a commitment to creating places of hope.
In Korntal, the organization operates youth support services, childcare centers, an assisted living and nursing home, and the Johannes-Kullen-Schule, a special education and counselling center. Its services for older people also include supported living and opportunities for social connection. In Wilhelmsdorf, the Hoffmannhaus offers youth welfare, schooling, agriculture, and childcare. The Schulbauernhof Zukunftsfelder provides a nature-based setting for learning and discovery.
The Diakonie also highlights autism expertise as a future area of development. Beyond its services, it invites people to contribute through employment, volunteering, donations, and support for its projects. Roles are available across childcare, schools, agriculture, youth and elderly care, facilities, and administration. The organization provides information about its work, history, events, and ways to get involved.
