Diamond Green Diesel

Diamond Green Diesel (DGD) is the largest renewable diesel producer in North America, and the second-largest in the world. As a joint venture between Valero Energy Corporation and Darling Ingredients Inc., DGD is at the forefront of the renewable fuel industry. Their state-of-the-art facility near Valero's Port Arthur, Texas refinery produces 1.2 billion gallons of renewable diesel annually, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional diesel fuel.

DGD's renewable diesel is made from sustainable low-carbon feedstocks, including used cooking oil and inedible animal fats. Darling Ingredients, the largest collector and processor of used cooking oil in North America, and Valero, with extensive experience in refining expertise, bring their unparalleled expertise to the operation of Diamond Green Diesel. This integrated supply chain and refining knowledge allow DGD to efficiently produce and market superior low-carbon fuels.

Recognized for their environmental leadership, Diamond Green Diesel's renewable fuel meets the most stringent low-carbon fuel standards. Their products are primarily sold in California, Canada, and Europe, where low-carbon fuel requirements are in place. With a commitment to sustainable practices and a dedication to reducing the carbon footprint, Diamond Green Diesel is leading the way in the renewable fuel industry.
