Diamond Mind Training & Consulting

Diamond Mind Training is a veteran-informed continuing education and professional training provider serving clinicians, addiction and behavioral health professionals, peer specialists, recovery coaches, and organizations supporting Veterans and military-connected communities. Founded and led by Garret Biss, a Marine Corps veteran, TEDx speaker, certified recovery coach, and NAADAC-approved educator, the organization combines lived experience, applied positive psychology, recovery principles, and practical insight.

Its live, interactive virtual courses and workshops address military transition, Veteran identity, substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges, post-traumatic growth, resilience, emotional regulation, relationships, and recovery. Training also explores collaboration among clinicians, peer specialists, and recovery coaches, as well as support for justice-involved Veterans and reentry. Sessions are designed for immediate application in clinical, peer, prevention, community, and organizational settings.

Diamond Mind, LLC is a NAADAC-Approved Education Provider, offering continuing education hours accepted toward national addiction-professional credentialing and by many state licensing and certification bodies. The organization also provides speaking and can bring training to conferences, workplaces, and other organizations serving Veterans and recovery populations.
