Die Aagfrässene is a Basel-based carnival society that brings members together for Fasnacht and social activities throughout the year. The organisation is made up of a Stammverein, a Junge Garde, an Alte Garde and the Rosshofspatze, offering different groups and activities for its members. Its home is a society cellar at Noodleberg 20, which is used not only during carnival season but also for gatherings during the rest of the year.

The society takes part in Basel’s Fasnacht and regularly appears at Drummeli, a local carnival event. Its programme includes rehearsals, musical repertoire, outings, celebrations and other social occasions, with news and photographs shared on its website. The Aagfrässene also welcomes visitors to the Rosshof each year during “Bebby sy Jazz,” where it serves food and drinks to music lovers. Those interested in learning more or getting in touch can use the contact form on the society’s website. Overall, the group combines carnival traditions, music and community life in Basel.
