Dierfysio Menalda

Polar is a practice offering osteopathy for horses and physiotherapy for animals, associated with Ellen Door van Schouwenburg. Its work focuses on movement and restoring balance when an animal’s normal function is disrupted. The practice notes that some problems do not have an obvious, identifiable cause, so assessment involves looking for the underlying source of a complaint and working from there to help restore balance.

Its services are presented for horses and dogs, with information also available on the relationship between rider and horse, and on osteopathy. The website introduces the practitioner and her approach, explains what osteopathy is, and provides details about fees and contact. It also refers to ongoing learning, reflecting an interest in continued professional development.

The practice positions the horse osteopath and animal physiotherapist as movement specialists who may help address a range of problems. Its central message is that comfortable, easy movement cannot always be taken for granted, and that identifying the source of imbalance is an important part of supporting an animal’s movement and wellbeing
