Dierwaardig

Dierwaardig is the animal-wellbeing practice and knowledge platform of Marjon Minten, focused on supporting the health of horses and dogs in ways that respect their physical and emotional needs, individuality and natural abilities. Its approach is expressed through the Dierwaardig Leefkracht Model, which includes animals’ freedom of choice as part of their wellbeing. The practice offers acupressure for horses, using gentle pressure on specific points as a treatment drawn from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dierwaardig also shares guidance on animal nutrition and lifestyle, helping owners think carefully about feeding, supplements, movement and everyday care. Its website features articles on topics such as equine sleep and stable bedding, omega-3 sources, protein, herbs, vaccination and antibody testing for dogs, and the health effects of stress and environmental factors. These resources encourage informed, thoughtful decisions rather than one-size-fits-all answers.

Dierwaardig also offers lectures and provides information about its working methods and services, giving animal owners practical ways to learn more about supporting their animals’ vitality and quality of life
