Diet Center, founded by Rifaat Jabri & Sawsan Wazzan Jabri, began as a small home kitchen endeavor and has grown into a successful business with franchises throughout the Middle East. Both Chemistry students with a passion for the Food Industry and Nutrition, they pursued advanced degrees in the field. Recognizing a gap in the market upon returning from the U.
S., they established the first Diet Center in 1990, focused on providing nutritionally-balanced menus tailored to individual goals. The brand quickly expanded, opening franchises in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar due to increasing obesity rates. Today, after 28 years, Diet Center remains the top weight loss company in Lebanon, offering a range of services from consultations to catering.
