Different Thinkers

Different Thinkers UK is a charity supporting young neurodivergent adults and people with learning disabilities or difficulties. Its work aims to help individuals understand their neurodiversity, access appropriate assistance, build meaningful connections, and pursue employment. The organisation offers early adult support, including guidance around understanding neurodiversity and pursuing a diagnosis, alongside employment support to develop job skills and workplace strategies. Its employment services include access to a Talent Portal and opportunities for employers to connect with young people for recruitment, projects, or one-off work.

Different Thinkers also provides community support through peer groups, shared experiences, and ongoing encouragement. In-person programmes and workshops cover topics such as wellness, nutrition, therapy, and meditation, with friendly mentors helping participants develop confidence and practical skills. The charity advocates for employment approaches that better accommodate neurodivergent people, recognising that suitable work can support stability and wellbeing. Based in London and registered in England and Wales, Different Thinkers UK invites individuals, employers, and donors to contribute to its mission of empowering young people to thrive.
