About Doha International Family Institute
Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) is a global policy and advocacy Institute dedicated to advancing knowledge on Arab families and promoting evidence-based policies at national, regional, and international levels. As a member of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development (QF), DIFI plays a crucial role in fostering healthy, educated societies in Qatar and the region. With a special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), DIFI strives to become a global knowledge leader on issues facing the Arab family through its research, policy, outreach, and advocacy initiatives.
Through conferences, grants, and publications, DIFI aims to bridge the gap between research, policy, and practice, while building a network of researchers, policymakers, and service providers dedicated to strengthening the family. By addressing family issues and implementing evidence-based family-friendly policies, DIFI contributes to the development of cohesive societies.
