Digester Doc

Digester Doc is a U.S.-based anaerobic digestion consulting and laboratory services provider focused on improving the performance, efficiency, and long-term health of digestion systems. The company draws on more than 40 years of experience and supports projects across the United States and internationally, including work in Canada, Singapore, and Turkey.

Its services span the lifecycle of anaerobic digestion projects, from initial feasibility studies and project development to operational troubleshooting and optimization. Laboratory offerings include Biomethane Potential testing, full system check-ups, microbial analysis, and hydrogen sulfide studies. Consulting services address challenges such as reduced gas yields, foaming, sulfur buildup, and digester upsets, as well as technology assessments, start-up assistance, feedstock evaluation, and nutrient recovery.

Digester Doc also helps clients assess project economics, incentives, permitting, and byproduct commercialization. Its team applies biological and chemical analysis to develop solutions tailored to each facility. The company reports that its optimization approach can increase biogas production while helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and it aims to make anaerobic digestion projects more effective and sustainable.
