DigiPLACE offers a comprehensive framework that enables the development of future digital platforms, serving as common ecosystems for digital services. The brand will define a Reference Architecture Framework for digital construction platforms, fostering innovation and commerce. This framework will be the result of an EU-wide consensus involving a diverse community of stakeholders, and will pave the way for successful implementation through a strategic roadmap.

With an unparalleled collaboration between EU construction industry representatives, academia, and support from public authorities, DigiPLACE is spearheading an 18-month project to create a digital platform framework. Led by Politecnico di Milano, the consortium comprises 19 partners from 11 countries. Notably, DigiPLACE has secured EU funding, marking it as the first-ever proposal targeting the digital transformation of the construction industry to receive funding from DG CONNECT.
