Maternity Expertise is dedicated to enhancing the safety and well-being of expectant mothers through education and advocacy for improved home delivery practices. Recognizing the growing trend of home births, particularly among women with past traumatic clinical experiences, the organization emphasizes the critical need for well-trained maternity caregivers to attend these deliveries. With the rise of complex pregnancies and a fluctuating provision of quality home birth options, Maternity Expertise aims to raise awareness about the potential dangers linked to home deliveries, especially for high-risk cases.

They advocate for open dialogues between healthcare providers and mothers to ensure informed choices, emphasizing that unnecessary risks should be clearly communicated. The organization urges that qualified midwives, equipped with the necessary clinical skills and fresh minds, handle home births. By urging substantial improvements in guidelines and protocols, Maternity Expertise plays a pivotal role in guiding women toward safer childbirth options, ensuring both mother and baby receive the best care possible during this critical time
